Ventana Vista Elementary School

Catalina Foothills School District

Welcome to Ventana Vista

We don’t just want students to speak to the world. We want them to lead it.

Where Two Languages Meet One Exceptional Education

At Ventana Vista, we don't just teach Spanish—we teach in Spanish. Our partial immersion model challenges students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and see the world from multiple perspectives, all while developing fluency in two languages.

Students thrive in our warm, welcoming environment rooted in academic excellence, innovation, and global readiness. As home to Catalina Foothills School District's Spanish Immersion program, our school offers students a unique opportunity to become bilingual and biliterate while developing strong skills in critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Why Families Choose Ventana Vista

Spanish Immersion That Goes Deeper
Students spend half their day learning core subjects in Spanish, half in English. This isn't language learning—it's learning through language. The cognitive benefits extend far beyond vocabulary: enhanced executive function, deeper critical thinking, and greater flexibility in navigating complex ideas across cultures. Our students don't just learn a second language—they build problem-solving, thinking, and teamwork skills that prepare them to succeed in a connected, global world.

A Campus Unlike Any Other
Nestled high in the Catalina Foothills, our architecturally stunning campus offers breathtaking views and a serene learning environment. The location adds a private school feel to a public school education—where beauty and academic rigor meet.

Deep Learning in Every Classroom
We embed six critical proficiencies into everything we do: Communication, Citizenship, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Creativity and Innovation, Collaboration, and Systems Thinking. Whether students are programming robots in kindergarten, conducting science fair research, or collaborating in our all-organic community garden, they're developing the skills that matter most in the 21st century.
