Art Club
Every Wednesday, Mrs. Fouts hosts Art Club for students in grades 2–5. Students can spend their recess time in the art room creating, drawing, and expressing themselves through a variety of art activities.

Boomwhacker Club
Offered by Mrs. Lee every Monday, Boomwhacker Club is open to students in grades 2–5. This fun, musical experience allows students to explore rhythm and teamwork using colorful percussion tubes.

Game Club
On Tuesdays, students in grades K–5 can choose to participate in Game Club during recess. Instead of going outside, students may stay inside and enjoy playing a variety of board games with their peers.

Mileage Club

Mileage Club is Ventana Vista's Thursday Running Club. On Thursdays, students join us on the lower field during lunch recess and run laps around the field. Each lap is 1/10 of a mile and as students complete laps they earn charms for their necklace!

This is a huge undertaking - each session, we need 10+ volunteers to scan students as they run laps, manage tokens, ensure safe running, and cheer students on! This is a fun way to spend time with your kid at school! Please join us! All volunteers must sign in at the front office before their session starts.

Session One: 10:45 - 11:45 (Kindergarten and 1st Grade)
Session Two: 12:00 - 1:00 (2nd Grade - 5th Grade)
LINK TO SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER
Siblings are always welcome - we will have a few sibling tags so they can run too!

Student Council

At Ventana Vista, our Student Council is committed to promoting kindness, safety, support, flexibility, and excellence. Open to interested (non-elected) students in grades 3–5, Student Council meets during lunch and recess. Members take part in a wide range of activities that benefit both the school and the broader community. This past year, they supported various organizations and collaborated with the Beautification Committee to decorate and place pavers around campus. Student Council members are leaders who exemplify the best of Ventana Vista. The council is led by Mrs. Pena.
