4th Grade Math

In math, our fourth graders are developing a strong understanding of factors and multiples. Students practiced finding all of the factors of whole numbers and identifying multiples to build connections between multiplication and division. These foundational skills support deeper problem-solving and prepare students for more complex concepts ahead.

Thank You for Attending Curriculum Nights

A heartfelt thank you to all of our Ventana Vista families who joined us for our Curriculum Nights! Your presence and partnership are essential to the success of our students, and we appreciate the time you took to learn more about our school.
These evenings provided an important opportunity to share the heart of our work with your children—the curriculum, instructional goals, and the ways we are building strong academic foundations. Just as importantly, we were able to review our discipline procedures and school policies, which help ensure a safe, supportive, and consistent environment for every student.
When families and schools work together, students thrive. By understanding what is being taught in the classroom and the systems we have in place, you are better equipped to support your child’s learning at home and reinforce the values we uphold at school.
Thank you again for your continued commitment to your child’s education and for being an active part of the Ventana Vista community. Together, we can ensure that every student feels supported, safe, and prepared to succeed.

Week 4 Update: Off to a Great Start!
Week 4 is off to a wonderful start here at Ventana Vista! Our students have quickly settled back into the school year and are following the routines and procedures that help make our days smooth and productive. From classrooms to the cafeteria to the playground, Bobcats are demonstrating responsibility, respect, and pride in their school.
These consistent routines are more than just procedures—they create the foundation for a safe and supportive learning environment. With clear expectations in place, students can focus on learning, work collaboratively with their classmates, and build positive habits that will serve them throughout the year.
We are proud of the way our students have embraced these expectations, and we appreciate the teamwork of our teachers, staff, and families in helping establish such a strong start. Together, we are setting the stage for a successful year of growth, learning, and achievement!
