We know there are countless CFSD teachers who’ve changed lives. If a teacher inspired, challenged, or believed in you (or your child) at just the right moment, please take a few minutes to tell them. Every student and every parent has a story. Let’s make sure our teachers hear it.What is the Legendary Teacher Tribute?
In honor of Legendary Teacher Day and in partnership with School Webmasters, we’re gathering short tributes for CFSD educators who:- help students grasp big ideas
- make learning creative and meaningful
- connect lessons to the past, present, and future
- adapt to diverse learners
- create dynamic, caring classrooms
- keep growing as professionals
Why your tribute matters
- Your words will lift up a teacher who made a difference.
- Tributes may be featured on our social media.
- One CFSD educator will be named 2025 Legendary Teacher and receive a $1,000 award.
How to submit (it’s quick!)
Write 250 words or less—think “greeting card style.” Include:- Your name and perspective (student, parent, or colleague)
- Teacher’s full name
- Subject/class
- School name, city, state
- Use a personal email when submitting
